Your PC, your data

Last updated 12 October 2026

Prestige runs its AI models on your own computer. Your chats, pictures, videos, songs, memory and files stay on your PC. R.G. Studios has no accounts, no servers that receive your data, no analytics and no tracking.

This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it.

When Prestige goes online

These are the only times Prestige connects to the internet, and what it sends.

What stays on your network

Phone access and the Android app are off until you switch them on. They talk to Prestige on your PC over your home network, protected by a pairing code, and don't go through any R.G. Studios server. The AI engines (Ollama, llama.cpp, ComfyUI, the voice server and Open WebUI) only listen on your own PC.

Where your data lives

Settings and keys you enter: %APPDATA%\com.rgstudios.prestige. Models, renders and the AI engines: your Workstation folder (by default %USERPROFILE%\RG Studios\Workstation). Uninstalling Prestige leaves the Workstation folder in place; delete it to remove everything. Tick Delete the application data while uninstalling to remove your settings and keys too.

This website

rgstudios.dev is a static site with no cookies, analytics or trackers. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, and the download button asks GitHub for the latest release, so Google and GitHub see your IP address when you visit. The site is served through Cloudflare.

Prestige IDE

Prestige IDE follows the same rules. It checks GitHub (github.com/Mr5elfDe5truct/prestige-ide) for a new version shortly after it opens and when you ask. Web search and page fetches happen only when the agent uses those tools, and fetching from a new site asks you first. Its models and tools run on your PC through Prestige. Sessions and settings are in %APPDATA%\com.rgstudios.prestige-ide.
